Workplace Hierarchy: The CEO's Rules for Falling in Love

On her first day at Shengshi Group, Su Qingyan accidentally discovers a vulnerable side of CEO Gu Yanchen that no one else has ever seen. After that, she becomes his "special focus" at work: he deliberately assigns her challenging tasks to see how she handles them; when her coworkers exclude her, he quietly stands up for her; and when she works late and heads home, he stays by her side under the pretext of "checking on the work." Gu Yanchen thinks he is merely curious about this unusual subordinate, until Su Qingyan, unable to bear the workplace gossip, submits her resignation. Only then does he realize that the feelings hidden beneath the facade of their superior-subordinate relationship have already taken root in his very bones. To keep her, Gu Yanchen sets aside his pride as a CEO and begins protecting her at work as he pursues her. The cold, stern boss becomes a thoughtful partner, and together they overcome every obstacle, turning their workplace attraction into a love all their own.
