Honghuang: I Hunt for Treasures and Marry the Third Holy Mother

Chen Xuan transmigrates to Honghuang and becomes an ordinary rogue cultivator beneath Kunlun Mountain. The Investiture of the Gods calamity is nearing its end, the heavens and earth weep blood, and powerful beings fall like rain.

He thinks there is no hope of cultivating the Dao in this life, but then he binds to the [Honghuang Treasure Map System]. Daily sign-ins grant him treasure maps that mark ownerless treasures across the Myriad Worlds!

From the start, one map leads him to dig straight through Skull Mountain and save Shi Ji Niangniang, whom Taiyi Zhenren was refining! He obtains fragments of an Innate Spiritual Treasure and changes her tragic fate!

From then on, Chen Xuan embarks on a different path to proving the Dao through treasure hunting:

Beneath Guanjiangkou, he digs up the inheritance of Yang Jian, the God of Erlang, and, in the process, saves the gentle and kind Third Holy Mother, Yang Chan. A thread of romance binds them from that moment on.

At the ruins of Mount Buzhou, he digs his way back into Pangu Temple and reshapes his foundations through the Great Dao of Strength, attaining the Ancestral Witch True Body!

He ventures into the netherworld, battles in the Blood Sea, unearths a chance to master the Earthly Dao, and allies with Empress Pingxin.

He takes Nezha's opportunities, seizes Sun Wukong's fortunes, and dares to debate the mysteries of the Dao with the Ancestor of the Dao in the Zixiao Palace!

Celestial Master Yuanshi: “Wherever this kid goes, the earth's ley lines convulse and every spiritual treasure disappears. He's a scourge to all Honghuang!”

Daoist Zhunti: “Why do the treasures destined for my Western religion always fall into his hands first?!”

Sect Master Tongtian: “Hahaha, dig away! Go dig up Jade Void Palace and bring its grounds back to me, too!”

By the time the Journey to the West calamity begins, Chen Xuan is already holding a supreme treasure, with the heroines and allies he won while digging across Honghuang standing behind him. He looks toward Western Spirit Mountain and smiles. “I hear there's a root of the Chaos Green Lotus buried beneath the Eight Treasures Merit Pool?”

This is the story of a man who digs his way through Honghuang in search of treasure and, along the way, marries the goddess he most wants to protect.
