The Charming Consort Stirs Up the Court, and the Emperor's Love Knows No Bounds

He is a decisive, ruthless tyrant, yet he gives all his tenderness and makes every exception for one person. When he was thirteen, he found a filthy eight-year-old beggar girl and took her in, keeping her at his side for ten years. Then, on their wedding night, the little thing was so frightened she started to cry. He lifted her chin and declared, “I didn't raise you for ten years so you could call me Father.”

Yaoguang becomes the most spoiled and brazen consort in the harem. The Noble Consort gives her a hard time? She talks back to her face. Officials impeach her? The emperor dismisses them on the spot. “I spoiled her. So what?” Everyone calls her a vixen, but only he knows that this little fox sneaks into his arms in the middle of the night, crying until his robes are soaked.

When her childhood sweetheart, the general, returns, and the villainous female characters join forces to frame her, the tyrant goes completely mad. He purges the entire harem for her and overturns the court for her, holding her as she cries and soothing her: “Don't be afraid. If the sky falls, I'll hold it up.”

Watch as the tyrant spoils a little crybaby until she becomes the darling of the entire harem, free to do as she pleases!
