Heaven's Tribulation: A Monkey Hair from the Start

I, Sun Xiaokong, was once nothing more than an ordinary strand of hair on the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, Sun Wukong. A thousand years after the Great Sage fell, a spark of undying spirit within me allowed me to take human form by chance, making me the new “Chosen One.” But the world I faced was not the familiar realm of Journey to the West. It was a chaotic space where the mythological order had collapsed and countless worlds were intertwined. The spirits of the Investiture of the Gods, the strange beasts of the Classic of Mountains and Seas, and even foreign deities struggled amid the ruins. Dark forces stirred behind the scenes, intent on devouring the last glimmer of light. And I, a mere strand of monkey hair, must embark on a journey, meet heroes and demons from different mythologies, unite countless supernatural powers, and fight my way through this shattered epic to reclaim the Mandate of Heaven!
