The Unquenchable Flame in My Bones

First month of the Bingwu year. Heavy snow seals the mountains. Once a genius, now kneeling in the snow. Three years ago, Chu Jin, young master of the Chu family, possessed the Blazing Sun Spirit Bone. He reached Foundation Establishment at sixteen and was hailed as a once-in-a-century prodigy. Thanks to him, his family rose to become one of Qingyun City's three great clans. Now, he kneels on the bluestone steps outside the family shrine. Black iron chains pierce his shoulder blades, and blood stains the remnants of New Year's Eve snow. His cultivation has been crippled, and his spirit bone has grown dim.
