The Last Can of Soda

A sudden apocalyptic virus destroys the familiar world. Human society collapses, and all order vanishes. The laid-back Lin Feng unexpectedly becomes the heart and soul of a wasteland survival team, leading the rational scientist An Jing, the sharp-tongued chef Lao Yu, the spirited young woman Xiao Tong, and the mysterious, taciturn former special forces champion Cheng Hu across a perilous yet absurdly funny post-apocalyptic China. They crack jokes and take shots at one another, yet always look out for each other. As they fight mutated monsters and frenzied zombie hordes, they also draw on their intelligence, cooking skills, courage, and trust in one another to find the last “City of Hope” amid the chaos of warring factions. Each of them grows through hardship, facing life’s uncertainty with laughter and lighting up the ruins with optimism and warmth. In the final chapter, they will confront the secret behind the apocalypse and choose between personal redemption and hope for the world, fulfilling their last humorous promise of “a new beginning.”
