A Comedian in Troubled Times

In a chaotic age of war, six ordinary people with nothing in common meet by chance and are swept into the power struggles of rival lords. From inexperienced newcomers to people who each claim a place in their era, they use humor and wit to forge their own way to survive amid one perilous turn after another. With comedy at its heart, the story briskly and vividly portrays their personal growth and the bonds they form as a team, as they meet the madness of a world at war with optimism. The three volumes each have their own theme, and after a great battle, the whole world celebrates as the six of them each begin a new life.
