The Game of the Future

In the rigidly hierarchical Interstellar Federation, six very different young people from the bottom of society are accidentally swept into a conspiracy among the ruling powers. From smuggling at spaceports and battles aboard starships to schemes on the dark web, they share hardships and grow close, weathering suspicion, disagreements, trust, and change together. As the conspiracy comes to light, their pasts and futures intertwine, and the bonds of friendship grow ever stronger. In the end, they discover that their choices can gradually pry open the old interstellar order and kindle a glimmer of hope for ordinary people. Witty humor runs throughout, with every setback and adventure accompanied by self-deprecating jokes and lighthearted banter, reflecting both the pain of growing up and the power of hope.
