Water Margin: I Am Song Jiang

When I wake up, I, Song Hai, a famous corporate wage slave and die-hard Water Margin hater, have transmigrated into Song Jiang, boss of Liangshan. And I'm standing in the Hall of Loyalty and Righteousness, giving an impassioned speech in favor of accepting amnesty! Just as Li Kui is about to blow his top and Wu Song frowns, with Lu Junyi looking uncertain... To hell with being a surrender advocate! It wasn't enough to grovel for a living in the 21st century? Now that I've transmigrated, I have to bow to a tyrant too? "I object!" I tear up the amnesty petition. "Brothers, accepting amnesty means begging for food on your knees! We Liangshan heroes are going to make our money standing tall!" [Ding! Comeback System activated! Refuse amnesty, starting with me!] From then on, the entire style of Water Margin goes off the rails. Wu Yong starts studying "encircling the cities from the countryside," Ling Zhen invents homemade grenades, and Li Kui keeps yelling that he wants to "cook up some high-tech tricks" for Gao Qiu... When the imperial envoy comes calling again, I put my arms around my brothers' shoulders. "Tell Official Zhao: want us to accept amnesty? Sure. He can hand over the throne so I can use it as a footstool!" This is a path where we will never beg for survival on our knees. With the System at my side and my brothers beside me, watch as I use outrageous schemes and cutting-edge technology to carve out a place in this Water Margin world and build a Liangshan unlike any other!
