The Qin Empire Rises Again: Warlords Divided!

After transmigrating, Chen Ji becomes a convict at Mount Li, caught in the eye of the storm just before the chaos of the late Qin begins. The upheaval following the First Emperor's death has yet to settle, and the empire's foundations are tottering under corruption and oppressive rule. Beneath the surface, Xiang Yu can lift mountains with his might, Liu Bang lies low among the common folk, the old royal houses of the Six States bide their time, and the Xiongnu cavalry eye the Central Plains.

Unwilling to await his execution, Chen Ji fights back from the brink. Armed with vision and determination beyond his time, he gathers convicts, takes in refugees, and recruits scattered soldiers, raising the banner of “Peace for the People” deep in Mount Li. He reforms the military, institutes laws, wins hearts with the “Three Articles of Law,” and forges a battle-hardened army, the Peace Army, with tactics and equipment far ahead of its time.
