A Marriage Alliance with a Crazy CEO: He’s Actually Qin Shi Huang Ying Zheng

After her family goes bankrupt, Gu Yuxin is forced to marry the rumored comatose CEO.

On their wedding night, her comatose husband opens his eyes and immediately threatens to wipe out her entire family!

He says he's Qin Shi Huang and mistakes her for a treacherous beauty who brought a kingdom to ruin.

Gu Yuxin: Thanks for asking. I just got married, my husband's gone mad. What do I do? Anyone there? It's urgent.

She thinks she'll have to spend her whole life matching wits with a madman, but then she unexpectedly discovers she can hear the thoughts of this “First Emperor.”

On the outside, he's stern and cold. “Woman, do not be insolent!”

In his head, he's staring in wonder at an excavator on TV: [My empress is fair of face and has a fine bearing. She just doesn't seem to know much about etiquette.]

On the outside, he dismisses her cooking. “How dare you serve such common fare before me?”

In his head, he's practically drooling: [...Another bowl, please.]

A seemingly lazy heroine who plays dumb and hides her talents faces an emperor of the ages who looks imposing enough to stand nine feet tall but is proud and full of inner monologue.

Gu Yuxin shrugs. Fine, I'll treat him like a giant baby with a bad temper.

And so begins her hilarious daily routine of “taming the dragon,” as she gradually turns this tyrant into a loyal puppy who belongs to her alone.
