Secret Files of the Anomaly Inspector

Chi Guanxue, daughter of a fallen military clan, bears the bloodline of the previous dynasty and the blood feud that wiped out her family.

She enters the palace in frail health, all for the sake of killing the emperor.

Her peerless martial arts are both a shield for self-defense and a blade of revenge.

With a masterful game of strategy, she turns the harem into a chessboard, and the consorts, eunuchs, and powerful ministers into her pieces.

She starts by investigating cases, founding the Office of Anomaly Investigation amid a tangled web of intrigue and tearing away the disguise concealing the conspiracies.

She brings down the Noble Consort and topples the powerful eunuch, taking control of the economy, the army, and public opinion.

When the old emperor dies and the vassal princes march on the capital, she stands in the Golden Hall and points her sword at the Dragon Throne,

declaring to the assembled court officials: “It's time for this realm to have a new ruler.”
