Stop Talking, Stop It! It’s the Terrifying Evil God

Caution: not for the faint of heart! Horror! Take heed! In the overgrown lot behind Qingni Town Middle School, eighteen-year-old Yang Shiyin clutches a crumpled university acceptance letter. His fingernails nearly dig into his palms. Dew on the grass dampens his trouser cuffs, but he feels no chill. Born with a pure Yin fate, he has been unable to feel cold or damp since birth, but is especially sensitive to “unclean things.” Now the wind carries faint whispers into his ears. Like countless insects crawling: “Look... he can see...” Yang Shiyin jerks his head up. Behind an old grave marker deep in the weeds, a gray shadow suddenly slips out of sight. He stumbles backward, hitting the mottled wall behind him. The words “Metropolitan University of Science and Technology” on his acceptance letter gleam coldly in the dusk.
