You Just Had to Tempt Me: What a Sweet Little Darling

[Two female leads + both pure + long-laid plans + devoted love + mutual salvation] Yun Shu's life is a textbook-perfect answer: marry Gu Beiwang, whose family is well-off; move into an apartment that looks like a show home; and live a life as meticulously planned as a spreadsheet. With a marriage contract, she secured the good match her mother wanted for her and the peace she herself craved. Her husband, Gu Beiwang, was gentle and polite. The only unusual thing was his male friend Fang Ning, who seemed to live at their home just as often as he did. Yun Shu kept to herself and accepted the arrangement. After all, she had secrets of her own. That was until Gu Beiwang's twenty-two-year-old aunt, Yan Yun, suddenly entered their lives. Though she ranked as an aunt, she was young and unpredictable, claiming to care for the younger generation while stirring up a storm. She showed up every weekend like clockwork, watching Yun Shu and Gu Beiwang put on their somewhat forced display of marital affection. Every now and then, she would say something shocking, leaving Fang Ning, who knew the truth, on edge. Yun Shu stuck to her role as her nephew's wife, exasperated by the need to deal with this overly energetic elder, never realizing that she was Yan Yun's one and only target. Watching Yun Shu's cool, composed demeanor, Yan Yun recalled that hazy, lamplit night three years ago and the humiliation she had tried to forget. She resolved to do whatever it took to shatter this “proper young wife's” facade and make her remember again: remember the truest warmth they had once shared. For the first time, Yun Shu's life, precise as an algorithm, acquired a variable she couldn't calculate. Watching Yun Shu try so hard to play the part of a proper young wife, Yan Yun could only sneer: Keep pretending. So you forgot me, huh? That's fine. I'll make you… remember, little by little.
