The Fifth Son of the Ming Dynasty: From the Start, I Was Bound to a Hospital

Reborn as the fifth son of the Ming dynasty, Zhu Su faces a hot-tempered father, Zhu Yuanzhang, who started with nothing but a bowl and whose ultimate skill is “beheading.” So Zhu Su decides to take his “madness” all the way. While his elder brothers compete to show off their literary and military talents, he clutches his chest and tells Zhu Yuanzhang, “Father, your son is ill. I only want to open a little hospital and live an easy life.” The officials at court all think the Prince of Zhou has gone mad. That is, until he uses alcohol to prevent epidemics, introduces potatoes to bring prosperity to the realm, and saves countless lives on the battlefield with sutures... Watching his civil and military officials kneel and beg a miracle doctor to save them, Zhu Yuanzhang falls into deep thought. He takes his saber and finds Zhu Su tinkering with penicillin in the lab. “Fifth Son, tell your father the truth. Can this hospital of yours... make people immortal?”
