Great Ming: The Six-Stat Specialist War God

I woke up to find that I had transmigrated into the Ming dynasty as Zhu Zhanji, the emperor’s eldest grandson! Before I could even get used to this boundless wealth and power, news of the Hongxi Emperor’s death arrived like a thunderclap. With the nation in mourning and powerful uncles watching hungrily, my knowledge of history tells me that beneath the dynasty’s apparent prosperity lie the crisis at Tumu Fortress and a wave of refugees.

Fortunately, the [National Destiny Exchange System] activates alongside me. But my national destiny value is a miserable 55% from the start! Putting down the Han Prince’s rebellion is merely the first payment of interest I collect. I introduce potatoes and sweet potatoes so the people can eat their fill; modernize firearms and train an invincible new army; open maritime trade and promote commerce. I will take the reign of the Ren and Xuan Emperors to unprecedented heights.

When I lead the northern campaign, sweeping away the enemy and making the Mongol tribes bow in submission; when my fleet sails across the oceans and plants the sun-and-moon banner on a newly discovered continent, the nation’s destiny finally breaks through the 90% mark. The roar of steam engines echoes through the capital, and for the first time, the dawn of the Industrial Revolution shines over the East.

The civil officials call me autocratic, and the princes accuse me of competing with the people for profit. But nothing can stop me from turning the Ming dynasty into an empire on which the sun never sets. This is an epic tale of a modern soul wielding a System to force an ancient empire to survive and defy the heavens, changing the course of history!
