Great Ming: My Grandpa Is Zhu Hongwu

In the fifteenth year of Hongwu, on the day Zhu Xiongying, the legitimate son of Crown Prince Yiwen, dies, a soul from the modern era quietly awakens. Faced with Zhu Yuanzhang and Zhu Biao, both overcome with grief, he invokes “a dream of Nanke,” offers a medical remedy, and extends his grandmother’s life, accomplishing astonishing feats in the body of a child.

On the dragon throne, the shrewd and suspicious Hongwu Emperor watches with a piercing gaze. Within the palace, his stepmother, Lady Lu, lays one poisonous plot after another. Beyond the court, his royal uncles each have their own designs. Knowing the tragedies awaiting the Ming dynasty, he vows to turn the tide.

So the eight-year-old imperial grandson establishes an academy and gathers brilliant minds; he predicts border troubles and wins over proud, battle-hardened generals. He even governs the country in the name of the Crown Prince’s heir, setting reform in motion. With modern knowledge, he plants the seeds of science and sound institutions, and with a vision beyond his time, turns potential enemies into sharp blades for expansion.

See how Zhu Xiongying maneuvers step by step in the glorious Hongwu era, right under Zhu Yuanzhang’s nose, saving the dynasty from collapse, securing the realm, and creating a Ming empire where every land beneath the sun and moon belongs to the Han, an empire on which the sun never sets!
