The Heaven-defying Dao Lord

Zhao Ritian, a young herb gatherer, falls into a desperate predicament while trying to save his sect and plunges into an unfathomably deep abyss. He survives against all odds, only to stumble upon an ancient cave dwelling and become the last inheritor of the Defiant Dao, a path that defies heaven and challenges the rules!

From then on, chaos opens within his dantian, and he cultivates beyond all conventional principles. He can even devour all living things and turn the strength of his enemies to his own use. With the supreme inheritance, the Myriad Tribulations Indestructible Body, he sweeps aside cultivators throughout the heavens despite being only at the humble Body Tempering Realm.

In Qingyang City, he shatters a mountain with one punch, wipes out bandit cultivators, and revives the Sunset Sect, which stood on the brink of extinction. In the Kunlun Realm, he cracks elixirs with one hand and takes on Nascent Soul cultivators head-on, stomping the seven great sects that uphold the principle that cultivation level determines one’s rank into the ground, one by one!

The giants of the demonic path see him as a prize for the taking, so he withstands their demonic arts with his flesh and blood, smashes their demonic cores, and quells a tide of a million demons. The spokesperson of the Heavenly Dao sees him as a heretic who must be eliminated, so amid the ninth tribulation that threatens to destroy the world, he tears apart the shackles of the rules and ascends to the Dao!

This is an overbearing path forged by a mortal who dares to defy heaven. Zhao Ritian will break not only his enemies’ arrogance, but also the unjust laws laid down by the Heavenly Dao!

When I return from the Immortal Realm, the nine heavens and ten lands will all follow the ways of my Defiant Dao!
