Boonie Bears: Rulebook Horror, Escape from Bear Ridge

Boonie Bears: Rulebound Horror, Escape from Gou Xiong Ling is set in the world of the classic animation Boonie Bears, transforming Gou Xiong Ling into a world of rule-based horror that blends childlike charm with the uncanny.

After receiving a strange invitation to a "Winter Carnival," the protagonist is drawn into an escape game with no way back. When he arrives at the seemingly familiar Gou Xiong Ling, he finds that it is no longer the cheerful forest from the cartoon. Silent snowfields, a clock stopped at 17:59, characters behaving strangely, and survival rules painted in red at the entrance all weave an invisible web around him.

The honey Xiong Da offers hides a deadly trap. Unidentified shadows move inside Xiong Er's dark wooden cabin. The sound of Guangtou Qiang's chainsaw rings out during forbidden hours. A girl in a red dress keeps asking about her lost teddy bear... Every rule marks the boundary between life and death: accept the honey, but don't taste it; refuse the invitation to the cabin; avoid the chainsaw when it sounds at the wrong time; never turn around when facing the girl. During twelve hours of darkness, the protagonist must gather three items, an old calendar, a honeycomb, and an axe, then complete the final ritual before daybreak to escape this twisted forest.

The story upends childhood memories by distorting the animated characters and builds dread through its concrete rules. Against images of snowy nights, wooden cabins, and wishing trees, it explores the tension between the familiar and the strange, obedience and resistance. Its escape leaves behind a lingering, chilling aftertaste, as the whispered words "See you next year" become an inescapable nightmare.
