Harry Potter: Dumbledore, Together in the Faint Light

[Ella Black × Albus Dumbledore] Childhood friends, with a small portion involving Grindelwald; read with caution if that bothers you. The ending is unknown: it's unfinished, so I don't know how it ends.

The wind in Godric's Hollow brushed the hair of two children: one a gifted boy concealing his family's sorrow, the other a Black girl who could sense the emotions of magic and was dismissed as a “weird kid.”

When they first met in 1881, they shared a curiosity about the Forbidden Forest and exchanged magical sketches hidden in a tree hollow. In a Hogwarts tower, they shared a cloak while watching the stars, but Grindelwald's ambitions sparked their first argument. As they traveled across Europe, she studied healing magic at Beauxbatons while he bore the guilt of his sister's death at Hogwarts. Their letters stopped, filled with all the longing they had never voiced.

From a time capsule buried in childhood to the understanding they shared as adults when they joined forces against dark wizards; from his final glance as he left the Astronomy Tower to her quiet “We did it” beside his grave after the war, Ella Black's life was entwined with Albus Dumbledore's fate.

This is not a solo act by a hero, but the story of two souls, from a faint glimmer to a dazzling light, bound together and protecting each other across a century. When the Elder Wand's light fades, the wind in Godric's Hollow will remember: his ambition and struggles, her empathy and tenderness, once shone together through the Wizarding World's darkest years.
