Dreams of a Wandering Galaxy

At a starport on the edge of the Galactic Alliance, Fein and a group of young people from the lowest rungs of society are “by chance” swept into a power struggle engulfing the entire Alliance. Hunted and coerced by the major factions, they use their talents and humor to overcome one crisis after another. Amid loss and confusion, they gradually come to understand the meaning of unity and hope. Every step of their growth is steeped in mockery and irony, yet through lively banter and ingenious schemes, they quietly gather the power to shake the system. In the end, they ignite a seemingly impossible revolution across the stars. In a Galactic Age where a million people have spines of jelly, they use their wits to forge a brilliant path of their own.
