Chasing Dreams in Harmony Valley

In a bustling city, young people from different backgrounds and walks of life meet through music. As they chase their dreams and face the setbacks of reality, they form an amateur band. Lin Jiayu neglects his studies because of his obsession with the guitar. Song Shuzhi holds fast to her musical ideals as they clash with her family’s expectations. You Zixiao uses hip-hop lyrics to piece together the truth of life. Chu Yuanhang seems to have it all, but is lonely inside; he struggles with music yet cannot escape its shackles. Zhuang Zhenxin and Wei Minglang become trusted mentors and friends on their journey to maturity. Humor, warmth, and conflict intertwine as the group find healing through friendship, love, and family ties. Gradually, they rediscover what first inspired them and fight against the odds to reach the dream stage at the city’s youth music festival. Their secrets and wounds come to light, but music ultimately helps them reconcile with the past, become their true selves, and make the strongest sound of youth amid the city’s splendor.
