War of Resistance: S-Class Logistics, You Fight on the Front Line and I’ll Keep You Supplied

When he wakes up, chemical engineering PhD Shen Wanjun from a later era finds himself in 1938, deep in the Taihang Mountains, as the acting director of an ordnance factory.

A factory? It's nothing but a shabby cave, seven or eight old and infirm people, and two beat-up rifles without rifling.

Everyone is starving, but their orders from above are: produce a hundred rifles and ten thousand bullets within three months!

Everyone thinks the task is impossible and prepares to die.

Just then, Shen Wanjun activates the Hyperdimensional Factory System!

Ding! Input one ton of soil and convert it into: 10 tons of high-grade cement!

Ding! Input ten tons of iron ore and convert it into: 1 ton of high-quality steel, plus blueprints for a Type 56 semi-automatic rifle!

Ding! Spend energy points to unlock production lines: penicillin, high explosives, smokeless powder, bulletproof vests...

From then on, a legend takes root deep in the Taihang Mountains.

While frontline soldiers are still worrying over every bullet, Shen Wanjun's troops have already been reequipped with automatic rifles and eat meat at every meal.

Just as the Japanese think mountain guns will let them dominate the battlefield, Shen Wanjun's Katyusha rocket launchers blanket the entire mountainside.

Years later, when a reporter asks a highly decorated general what the best decision he ever made was, the general, cigarette between his lips, gazes toward the ordnance factory and says with deep emotion, “Keeping that kid Shen Wanjun around back then!”
