The Beautiful Landlady: A Love Story with Her Tenant

She is Chen Fangfei, a beautiful divorced landlady who owns several properties.

Tenants come and go, but she has a well-practiced playbook: she pinpoints each man's weakness and draws them in one by one with tenderness, affection, or even money.

The cash-strapped college student, the manager whose career has hit a rough patch, the heartbroken designer, the lonely musician, the rational divorce lawyer... They have all been her prey.

She never gives her heart, much less steps into marriage. She simply enjoys the thrill of controlling other people's feelings.

That is, until Lu Shiyu appears.

He is an independent photographer who has no shortage of money or affection, and he refuses to play by the rules.

He sees through her disguise and recognizes the loneliness deep inside her.

“You’re always taking care of other people’s loneliness. It’s time someone saw yours, too.”

Those offhand words are like a key, unlocking Chen Fangfei’s heart, sealed away for so long.

She begins to waver, questioning her lifelong refusal to marry for the first time. Should she keep controlling other people's feelings, or take a chance and let herself be loved and seen?

This is a story about schemes and outsmarting them, healing and growth.

When the beautiful landlady stops being the hunter, can she find true freedom in love?
