A Lovely Bride Falls Out of an Ancient Tomb

The naive swordsman Xiao Tie Dao heads down the mountain on his master's orders, only to step straight into a century-old tomb and wake the “fairy” Lin Jiaojiao, whom he lands on. A modern office worker who transmigrated into the body of a deceased heiress, she is delicate and frail, so she has no choice but to cling to this handsome, foolish protector.

Through one clash of blades after another, he handles the monsters while she keeps up a running commentary and enjoys the show. He earns silver to buy her tonics, and she teaches him to embroider red cords for his sword tassel. From tomb chambers to the martial world, from a ruined temple where they take shelter from the rain to a desperate escape through a snowy night, this simple-minded swordsman pampers Jiaojiao until she becomes everyone's darling, while Jiaojiao coaxes him into becoming the greatest swordsman under heaven.

When the truth comes out, she proves to be the last survivor of a massacred family. He faces a thousand enemies alone: “Anyone who touches my wife dies by my blade!” In the end, his foolish sword clears her name, and his devotion lets them retire from the martial world. The road ahead is long, but with you by my side, I'm not afraid.

Lighthearted and hilarious, sweet as can be, with no angst. Come enjoy the romance!
