Siheyuan: A Poor Man's Space Is Packed with Meat

The whole compound thinks he's a useless pauper who can barely afford to eat. But his space is piled high with meat, and he feasts every day while watching the neighbors go hungry enough to gnaw on tree bark. He sneers: It's not that I have no conscience. I just remember how you drove me out back then.

They think he's a penniless beggar, but he's actually the only “god” in the famine years, a god who judges human nature with meat.
