Reborn in Rocks' Era: The Legend of Buggy the Red-Nosed

"Do you really think anyone who came from Roger's ship could be a good-for-nothing?"

Rocks ruled the seas for a lifetime, only to be defeated by Roger and Garp working together at God Valley. As he lay dying, he used the power of the Reincarnation Fruit and was reborn as a baby!

When he opened his eyes again, the first thing he saw was the grinning face of his fellow overlord, Roger.

"From today on, you're my son, Buggy!"

The former overlord of the seas has a clown's red nose forced upon him by his mortal enemy and becomes the weakest apprentice on the ship. He swears to bide his time and take revenge, but Roger's fatherly love and Shanks's friendship gradually make him waver.

Then one day, he accidentally eats a second Devil Fruit, and the two powers inside him clash violently. On the voyage to the Final Island, he comes down with a high fever and has to leave the ship to recover, missing the most important moment in the crew's journey to make Roger the Pirate King.

Years later, Shanks, wearing a straw hat, becomes one of the Four Emperors, while Buggy is still searching for his treasure map in the East Blue.

Everyone laughs at him for being a clown.

Until one day, the Navy surrounds Loguetown, ready to execute the last of Roger's bloodline.

Before the eyes of the whole world, Buggy takes off his red nose, and his Chop-Chop Fruit awakens in an instant. Standing on the execution platform, he faces the cameras broadcasting to the world and breaks into an overlord's cold smile.
