Journey to the West: This Tang Monk Is Far Too Badass

I, Tang Sen, transmigrated into Tang Sanzang. I thought I’d been handed a script about attaining Buddhahood and becoming a legendary patriarch, but it turns out things aren’t what they seem!

The pilgrimage? Merit? It’s all a scheme! The Monkey King was forced into it, Bajie is an undercover agent, and Sha Seng is an award-winning actor.

Luckily, I came with an [Emotions-Befitting-Sainthood System]. The more Buddhism pushes me around, the stronger I get.

You want me to save all sentient beings? I’ll hit you with the “Mighty Dragon of Heaven: Youth Edition”!

You want me to reform monsters? I’ll send them straight to the afterlife, the old-fashioned way, and use their demon cores to make wine!

Sister Guanyin, stop smiling at me. I’m afraid Wukong will get the wrong idea. Boss Tathagata, stop forcing me to make the pilgrimage. Push me again, and I’ll turn your Spirit Mountain into a barbecue stall!
