The Shenzhen Wolf

A “Shenzhen drifter” becomes a “Shenzhen wolf.” In this city, only fists and cash matter! Fresh out of vocational school, Chen Xiao heads south to Shenzhen, dreaming of making it big and hoping to stay with his aunt Su Mei, who works at an electronics factory. But instead of a safe place to settle, he finds a cold, cruel reality: his aunt has already been heartlessly laid off and is forced to work at the “Dreamnight” club to make ends meet.

An impulsive attempt to stand up for his aunt sends Chen Xiao crashing into the dangerous world of gangs. From a lowly security guard to a fugitive on the run, from desperate street fights to controlling a territory of his own, the fearsome name “Shenzhen Wolf” begins to spread beneath the cover of night.

Behind the glittering facades of nightclubs lie casinos and bloody underground fights. Beyond the city’s factories, theft and extortion thrive. At the docks, shipping containers conceal cutthroat deals, while even the gleaming office towers harbor the underground world’s dirty money. The Hunan Gang, the Chaoshan Gang, the Sichuan-Chongqing syndicates... all vie for power beneath this city of wealth. And Chen Xiao, a “lone wolf” who has clawed his way up from the bottom, is destined to stir up Shenzhen’s dark undercurrents.

He does it all to protect the only family he has left, and simply to survive in this cold jungle of steel! Brothers, knives, money, life: he will ignite a bloody storm that sweeps across Pengcheng!
