After Failing the College Entrance Exam, I Join the Starship Troopers, Blast Bugs, and Strike It Rich

(The rating just came out and will rise later. The audiobook is recommended.)

After failing the college entrance exam five years in a row, Arthur was drowning in debt. To avoid his creditors and earn compensation money, he was forced to join the Star River Corps, where the death rate was 99%, and became an overage cannon fodder soldier.

But on his very first day landing on an insect planet, he awakened the [Cosmic Bounty Hunter System]!

Kill the insectoids and earn mountains of credits!

Clear out a hive and get blueprints for high-civilization black technology!

Every kill made him stronger, and every death planet became an ATM!

Pistol → heavy machine gun → exoskeleton → powered armor → star-destroying battleship!

While his teammates wet themselves amid the insect tide, Arthur went on a wild shopping spree and watched his balance skyrocket.

While the Federation fleet was still locked in a brutal fight against the insectoid empire, Arthur had already become the richest man in the universe by farming bugs, with a mechanical army blotting out the sky!

Federation Marshal: “What the hell! We sent you to scavenge. How did you upgrade your powered armor to a star-destroying level?”

Arthur: “Sorry, sir. The hell you see is just my ATM.”
