A Jade Pendant's Enchanting Glimmer: The Emperor's Scheming, Beloved Wife

Su Qingyan, a top modern history student, accidentally transmigrates while staying up late watching Empresses in the Palace, becoming Su Ling, the most insignificant maid in Broken Jade Pavilion. In her hand is the family heirloom jade pendant known as “Shadow of the Startling Swan,” and beneath her bed lies the lost Medical Notes of the Medicine King. When she opens her eyes, Xia Dongchun is about to be sentenced to a hundred strokes with the scarlet rod. She also knows that if she follows the original plot, she will be nothing but a speck of dust among the cannon fodder. Fortunately, she knows the story inside and out. Her jade pendant can reveal key scenes through the “Shadow of the Startling Swan,” while the medical notes can cure every poison and teach her medicine. When Yu brings over poisoned almond tea, Su Ling finds an excuse to switch the bowls. When Meizhuang is framed for a false pregnancy, she secretly passes along a warning. When Consort Hua's Yichun Fragrance conceals a musk plot, she joins forces with Wen Shichu and plans every step carefully. In the imperial garden, she meets Prince Guo by chance and offers a modern historian's take on the painting “Winter Plum Blossoms.” One remark, “When the moon is full, it begins to wane; only empty space leaves room for life,” astonishes the gentle prince. The jade pendant's faint light resonates with him, and from then on, her life navigating palace intrigues gains a kindred spirit willing to wield a sword for her. She is a strategist to Consort Xi Zhen Huan, using saltwater to disinfect and protect her pregnancy, and using one enemy to strike another to break the empress's poison plot. She is the hidden hand behind Consort Hua's downfall, ensuring that evidence of Nian Gengyao's corruption “just happens” to reach the emperor. And she is the player who rewrites An Lingrong's fate, making the betrayer suffer the consequences of her own actions. With the Shadow of the Startling Swan in her hand and the Medicine King's book in her heart, watch this modern top student wield intelligence as her blade and her golden finger as her shield. From a lowly palace maid, she fights her way to the top, protecting the people dearest to her and sharing a sweet romance of palace intrigue and undying devotion with Prince Guo. In the end, she stands at the pinnacle of power and lives out a legend of her own!
