Buddha of Hellfire: The Great Sage’s Tribulation

The Calamity of Buddha and Demon Ten thousand years of reincarnation bring calamity to birth, as the underworld prison breaks its seal and dark tides surge. The flames of the Infernal Prison consume the Three Realms; the Buddha Realm crumbles, and the immortal court runs red. The Demon Lord Rahu rises, bearing his grudge, and vows to command all spirits within three days. The relics of Spirit Mountain must be protected, while a sword is raised against Wukong's Buddha-heart. Half his body is invaded by demonic energy, dark-gold scales covering his battle-worn form. The golden headband absorbs the flames that scorch the heavens; the edge of ten thousand calamities cuts through hatred and resentment. Buddha and demon coexist, their twin pupils blazing: the right eye peers into the demonic, the left sees clearly. Southern Bright Separation Fire stirs with his gaze, twin lotus flames ringing in resonance. The Four Symbols talismans scatter, the allied forces are stalled, and the Eight Divisions' prison generals assault the borders. The Heaven-Burning Barrier is about to collapse; comrades fall, and blood stains the road. Demonic energy turns back on him, invading his mind, while the heart demon secretly plagues his Dao-heart. A powerful enemy blocks his way ahead, while behind him stretch blood mist and a path with no end in sight. His will to fight as the Great Sage Equal to Heaven has never changed; he strides forth singing along the path against calamity. He grips the golden headband tight, his voice thundering as he roars, shaking the Three Realms: “This old Sun is still alive! How could the cosmos fall into the city of the dead?”
