A Bridge of Hearts by the Pool

Poolside Bridge is a heartwarming story of growing up and finding salvation in one another. It begins at a swimming pool in summer, where Chen Chen, an introverted college student, goes to learn to swim with his cheerful friend Zhao Yang and meets the cool, aloof coach Lin Xiaoxue. She was once a promising swimmer, but after retiring for personal reasons, she became a coach, using professionalism to shield her inner wounds. He, meanwhile, is a beginner afraid of water. From the moment they meet, he falls head over heels for her, consumed by a secret crush that keeps him from eating or sleeping. In the shimmering pool, she is the strict teacher who guides him through his fear; outside training, he becomes the one who sees her vulnerability and looks out for her. This is more than a story about learning to swim. It is a journey of healing for two people. As Chen Chen pursues the light, he transforms from an insecure, timid young man into someone brave and confident. Through teaching and learning from each other, Lin Xiaoxue gradually opens her heart and finds the courage to face her past again. When trials come and the shadows of the past resurface, they choose to face them together, building a bridge between their hearts in the clear water of the pool. At last, on a stage watched by countless people, Chen Chen fights not only for honor, but also to protect someone precious to him. What he wins is not just a medal, but the chance to stand as an equal beside the woman who once seemed beyond his reach. Their connection began at the pool, and bore witness to the most beautiful kind of love: one that makes both people better.
