A Killer's Case Files: A Psychiatrist's Story

**About This Mystery and Speculative Fiction Novel** **Tags**: Sci-fi mystery · Consciousness transfer · A labyrinth of human nature **Synopsis**: After an experiment in “memory transfer” that overturns everything humanity knows spirals out of control, brilliant neuroscientist Shen Duo discovers he is trapped inside fragments of other people’s broken memories. Each memory is a lock, and the truth lies in moments of death that endlessly repeat. Before his consciousness fades away, he must expose the conspiracy behind the experiment, or become an “intelligence ghost” wandering forever in the data abyss. **Key Questions**: - **Who is altering the memories?** In the corridors of memory, Shen Duo discovers the “thirteenth test subject,” who turns out to be himself, declared dead by law. - **The nature of the prison**: The so-called experiment pods are actually an “immortality prison” for storing human consciousness in bulk, and the key is hidden in the thirty seconds of blankness before the experiment began. - **The ultimate choice**: If freeing human consciousness means erasing every test subject, including the enemy whose memories have merged with his daughter’s, which way will the scales tip between ethics and revenge? **Standout Concepts**: - **The Law of Increasing Memory Entropy**: Every return to a memory triggers irreversible chaos, and the protagonist’s “anchor” is being replaced by someone else’s childhood. - **The Hive Mind Trap**: The closer he gets to the truth, the greater the risk that he will be assimilated by other test subjects’ memories, forming a collective hallucination. - **Quantum Confession**: The ultimate boss’s memories of sin exist in a quantum state.
