I Preach the Investiture of the Gods in Heaven, and All the Immortals Weep

Chen Fan transmigrates into the Heavenly Court as a low-ranking immortal official in charge of sweeping the Sutra Pavilion, on the verge of being banished to the mortal world. He is at his wit’s end.

At a moment of crisis, he awakens the [Primordial Storyteller System]. As long as he reveals secrets of the primordial world, he can earn rewards and make his listeners believe every word!

Facing Nezha, who has come to demand answers, Chen Fan smiles faintly:

“Third Prince, did you know that your lotus incarnation is missing a key ingredient? That’s why your cultivation has been stuck for a thousand years.”

Nezha is stunned. “What ingredient? Please teach me, Master!”

Facing the furious Yang Jian, Chen Fan speaks calmly:

“Erlang Zhenjun, when you split the mountain to rescue your mother, did you know that your mother, the immortal Yaoji, hid a lifesaving safeguard for you beneath Peach Mountain?”

Yang Jian roars, “Who dares touch my mother’s keepsake!”

When the gods and Buddhas fill the heavens and a Saint descends, ready to cast him, the man who revealed Heaven’s secrets, into eternal ruin,

Chen Fan holds his storyteller’s clapper and faces the Six Saints, speaking in a clear voice: “Today, allow me to tell you all about the Dao Ancestor’s true scheme behind the Investiture of the Gods!”
