My High School Is a Battlefield in the Investiture of the Gods

Qingyun Experimental Middle School is actually a place formed from a fragment of the ancient Investiture Altar. Though the Investiture of the Gods War has ended, its “karma” has not. The celestial offices are now rigidly entrenched. The resentment, obsessions, and karma accumulated over ten thousand years by those who were deified, those who failed to be deified, and the demons subdued along the Journey to the West have coalesced into “calamity energy,” which is eroding reality. The school is a microcosm of the struggle over religious orthodoxy in this “post-Investiture era.”
