Special Forces: Blood Shadow at Dusk

Special forces, international conflict, gritty realism, dual protagonists, first-person narration, punchy colloquial humor, extreme survival, covert espionage, genetic conspiracies, AI warfare, a Bible of modern weapons, true-to-life tactics, a global manhunt, adrenaline, refreshing twists, moral gray areas, battlefield PTSD, countdown storytelling, cinematic scenes, the pace of a TV thriller, blood in every blow, no whitewashing, no saintly heroes, black and white sharing the frame, betrayal by the state, atonement, masculine romance, fierce women, roses amid artillery fire, a counterattack in the polar wastes, and a doomsday countdown.

The state erased my records, and the world marked the date of my death. But my bullets don't recognize serial numbers, only blood.

My name is Lin Ce, a former Longyuan special forces soldier, a ghost erased from the books.

An assault rifle in my left hand, a shattered camera in my right. I kill and film, run and broadcast.

From the Golden Triangle's drug dens to a city beneath the Arctic ice: forty thousand li of pursuit, four fronts, wanted by four nations.

I'm no hero, and I never expected to survive. I just want to load the truth into the world's magazine before I draw my last breath.

Turn this page, and what you smell isn't ink, but gunpowder. What you see isn't words, but blood.

If you dare to follow me into the abyss...
