Strategy and Game Theory

In the face of globalization and the impact of artificial intelligence, this book breaks through conventional thinking and reconstructs decision-making through the framework of "relativity." Its core theory reveals the opposing yet complementary relationship between strategy, the use of information asymmetry, and game theory, the pursuit of equilibrium. Eastern strategy, as seen in The Art of War, emphasizes dynamic goals, while Western game theory, as represented by Nash equilibrium, focuses on balance within rules. Through cross-civilizational comparisons, the book finds that Zheng He's cooperative strategies and the competitive games of the Age of Exploration both came down to balancing "information asymmetry" and "the power of rules."

The book develops three dimensions: opposition, optimal goals versus balanced outcomes; unity, maximizing interests; and transformation, moving from behind-the-scenes maneuvering to rulemaking. Its original "dual-dimensional decision-making model" breaks through narrow thinking in business mergers and acquisitions and international negotiations, covering four major fields: politics, economics, society, and the military. It also provides a "dual-dimensional checklist" to help readers train their decision-making skills in situations such as negotiating a purchase.

In response to technological change, the book proposes a "human-machine collaboration" strategy: AI handles game-theoretic calculations, while humans focus on strategic judgment. In cross-cultural communication, the East emphasizes strategic flexibility, while the West stresses rules of play. Ultimately, the goal in the era of Globalization 2.0 is to achieve "dual-dimensional balance without confrontation."

This book is not only a work of theory, but also a guide to action. It teaches you to use strategic wisdom to activate the framework of game theory in an age ruled by AI rationality, finding the best solution between rules and flexibility. When the world is trapped in black-and-white thinking, the "relativity" mindset is the key to breaking the deadlock.
