The Ultimate Axis

Explore the truth behind the “Ultimate” and redefine what it means. The story revolves around a central paradox: if “immortality” comes at the cost of the world's very “existence,” gradually eroding and forgetting it, what choice should we make? This is not just a contest of strength, but a philosophical interrogation of life, memory, and the meaning of civilization. The true nature of the “Ultimate”: It is not a source of immortality, but an ancient “anchor” that keeps reality stable. It maintains balance by slowly absorbing and sealing away the “presence” of civilizations and history. Anything it absorbs completely is erased from everyone's memories and from reality itself. What the Zhang family has guarded for generations is not the power of the “Ultimate,” but this dangerous “balancer,” preventing it from running out of control and collapsing reality, as well as keeping outside forces from abusing it. The Wang family does not simply want to replace the Zhang family. Its leaders have uncovered the truth that the “Ultimate” erases history. Their ultimate goal is to “restart” Guixu and release every “existence” sealed away there, restoring all of history to reality, even if it unleashes unknown disasters. This gives their actions a more complex and tragic motivation. The “antiques” sought by tomb raiders are vessels that carry these “traces.”
