The Cannibal Manor: A Sinister Yin-Yang Plot

Mo Yu’s heart tightened, and she gritted her teeth. “Gold, silver, jewels, fine silks and satins, I can offer you any of them.”

“Do you think I’d care for such vulgar things?” The old man sat up, his gaze fixed on Mo Yu’s ample chest, desire plain in his eyes. “This medicine must be made with a virgin’s vital yin as its catalyst. If you’re willing to give me your body, the Infatuation Pill is yours.”

Mo Yu stiffened all over. She thought of Jin Yuben’s dismissive attitude, her lowly status as a slave, and the allure of the powerful elite. The hesitation in her eyes vanished in an instant.

She raised a hand and untied her cloak, revealing the close-fitting garment beneath, embroidered with entwining lotus vines. Her voice was so calm it was almost cold. “If that’s what it takes to obtain the Infatuation Pill, I’ll do as you wish, Senior.”

A flicker of surprise crossed the old man’s eyes, then gave way to amusement. He beckoned Mo Yu closer.

When she came within reach, the old man seized her wrist and pulled her into his arms. He rolled over, pinning her to the bamboo couch, and praised her between ragged breaths. “You certainly know how to read the situation.”

Mo Yu closed her eyes and buried all her shame and resistance deep inside.

Morning mist mingled with the stove’s pale smoke as it swirled through the valley. Amid the mournful wind sighing through the bamboo, there was a hint of something poorly concealed, as if trying to hide this bargain, staked on her body, along with the beastly, coarse panting and lewd growls, deep in the valley’s shadows.
