The Ferryman of Memories and Redemption

Lin Mo is an ordinary programmer struggling to get by in the city. One day, he suddenly awakens the ability to “ferry memories”: he can enter other people’s subconscious minds, alter fragments of painful memories, and help them escape the darkness. Thanks to this “golden finger,” he unexpectedly meets Su Wan, a pianist who has shut herself off from the world because of childhood trauma. He uses his ability again and again to “soothe” her pain, and the two grow from strangers into something more. Lin Mo, meanwhile, gradually becomes intoxicated with his “savior” persona.

However, as Su Wan’s memories become increasingly “perfect,” she begins to suffer frequent memory lapses and hallucinations. At the same time, Lin Mo’s ability turns against him. His own memories start to fragment, and he can’t even remember the details of how he first met Su Wan. Then, during an uncontrollable episode, Lin Mo sees something in Su Wan’s subconscious that turns his understanding upside down: ten years ago, a careless mistake by the young Lin Mo caused Su Wan’s life-changing accident. And his ability to “ferry memories” was never something he had “awakened.” It was a “compensatory tool” accidentally bestowed upon him by the remnants of an experiment conducted by Su Wan’s father, a brain science researcher, in an attempt to save his daughter.

When the truth comes out, Lin Mo’s ability disappears completely, and Su Wan recovers her full memories. Standing amid the ruins of the “truth,” will they blame each other, or face the regrets of ten years ago together? This extraordinary bond, which began as an act of “salvation,” ultimately becomes a journey in which they choose each other as they learn about “forgiveness” and “self-redemption.”
