Reborn as a Black Bear Demon: Snatching the Brocade Kasaya from the Start

When he wakes up, Xiong Batian discovers he has become the Black Bear Spirit of Black Wind Cave on Black Wind Mountain.

The very unlucky fellow who stole the brocade cassock and was eventually taken by Guanyin to serve as a guardian deity of her mountain?

No! In this life, my fate is mine to command!

The Heaven’s Mandate Hijacking System activates. As long as he gets to an opportunity, magic treasure, or even a share of destiny before the original characters do, he earns rewards and grows stronger without limit!

First target from the start: Guanyin Monastery and the brocade cassock!

While Sun Wukong is still trading spells with the old abbot, Xiong Batian has already sneaked into the monastery. Amid a sea of flames, he snatches the cassock and runs!

“Ding! Successfully hijacked the brocade cassock. Reward: Indestructible Vajra Body!”

When Guanyin arrives to subdue the demon bear, she finds Xiong Batian long gone, leaving behind only a note: “I’ve taken a liking to the cassock. Maybe we’ll meet again somewhere in the Three Realms.”

From then on, a mysterious hijacking bandit joins the pilgrimage to the West.

Sun Wukong: “Why does my Golden-Banded Staff feel lighter?!”

Laozi: “Who! Who stole my Vajra Cudgel?!”

Zhen Yuanzi: “My ginseng fruit tree… Why is there nothing left but a stump?!”

With a sack of magic treasures slung over his shoulder, Xiong Batian stands atop a mountain and gazes toward Spirit Mountain. “A pilgrimage to the West? By the time you get there, Spirit Mountain will belong to the Xiong family!”
