The Classic of Mountains and Seas: Spirit Tamer's Record

The Yu Dynasty is at the height of its prosperity, with humanity reigning supreme. Yet between the mountains and seas, strange beasts run rampant, and gods and demons lurk in the shadows. The art of spirit-taming flourishes in this age. Using talismans as a medium, humans can capture spirits, command divine beasts, and wield the power of heaven and earth.

The young Cang Yun, whose origins are a mystery, depends on a little fox named A Li, whose veins carry only a trace of divine blood. Guided by an ancient teaching, he regards spirit beasts as friends and family, walking alone through a world of spirit-taming where the strong prey on the weak. His only companion is a rusty bronze pot inherited from his family. Apart from being sturdy, it seems to have no other use.

That changes when the mysterious Nether Fiend Cult appears in the frontier, cruelly hunting spirit beasts and stealing their bloodlines. An unexpected encounter draws Cang Yun into the maelstrom, and he discovers that the broken pot on his chest can guide him to safety in times of crisis and devour spirit energy. It also reveals a glimpse of its true identity: the divine artifact known as the Demon-Refining Pot.

His peaceful life is shattered. The Nether Fiend Cult’s pursuit never lets up, while the secrets of an ancient divine artifact stir turmoil across the land. Only then does Cang Yun realize that his parents’ disappearance and his family’s decline are both connected to the pot.

The road ahead is perilous, with powerful enemies closing in on every side. All he has is a sincere heart and bonds that grow stronger by the day.

See how the young man takes up his useless pot and sets out with his closest friends and spirit companions, traversing the wondrous realms of the Classic of Mountains and Seas, taming countless miraculous spirit beasts, breaking layer upon layer of seals, and unleashing the Demon-Refining Pot’s power to devour the heavens and refine the earth!

In this grand epic where humans and spirit beasts dance together, can he stay true to himself, protect those he loves, uncover the ancient mystery, and write his own legend of spirit-taming?
