The Chancellor's Delicate, Charming Concubine

After a dream, a modern woman finds herself as a concubine of the chancellor in an imaginary dynasty.

She saved the chancellor's life, but after returning to his residence, she was forgotten in a remote little courtyard.

Three years later, in the chancellor's garden:

Chancellor: Do we have a guest today?

Guard: My lord, that's Concubine Cui.

Chancellor: Cui Yiyi?

Cui Yiyi: My lord, women change a lot after eighteen. They only get prettier.

Chancellor: You're twenty-one.

Cui Yiyi...

“My lord, I twisted my ankle. It hurts so much.”

“My lord, I'm so dizzy. I can't stand.”

Watching Concubine Liu across from her, her brows knotted together, Cui Yiyi thought disdainfully: Hmph, anyone can act coquettish. At least I'm not the one making a fool of myself.

Cui Yiyi, a woman with a modern higher education, calmly accepts that ancient men have several wives and concubines. She hides in the most remote courtyard, praying that the man will forget her. But the overly enthusiastic third and fourth concubines never fail to push her right in front of him.

Fine. Considering that she's been paid on time for three years, with plenty of good food and all her living expenses covered, from today on she'll do her job properly and be grateful to her big boss.
