Teacher Tan and Su Yao

[Teacher-Student Romance]

Years later, Su Yao walks beneath the cherry trees, hand in hand with Tan Shaowen, and asks softly:

“Teacher Tan, what do you think my life would have been like if I had never gotten into Haicheng University?”

“Teacher Tan, if I had never met you all, how ordinary my life would have been.”

Tan Shaowen stops. They face each other, and he gently smooths back her hair as the wind blows it loose.

“Have you ever regretted it?”

“I've looked forward to it, worked hard, been happy, regretted it, despaired, felt relieved, been content. I am happy now.”

They embrace beneath the cherry trees. A breeze carries petals down like snow, and in this romantic scene, their hearts draw closer as they promise to stay together for the rest of their lives.
