I, Di Xin, Refuse to Be a Sacrifice in the Investiture of the Gods

The six-hundred-year legacy of the Cheng Tang dynasty is on the verge of collapse. The Investiture of the Gods hangs in the heavens, and the moment war erupts between Shang and Zhou, countless living beings become pawns in a game played by immortals and gods.

Zi Shou opens his eyes to discover that he has become Di Xin, the Shang king known to history as King Zhou, who died as his country fell.

The Chan sect has already laid a trap, using Zhou to overthrow Shang. Demonic beauties in his harem threaten to throw the court into chaos, treacherous ministers surround him, the feudal lords sharpen their blades, and even “Heaven's Mandate” urges him toward the sacrificial altar.

“I am Di Xin, not anyone's sacrifice!”

Deep within his sea of consciousness, the Human Destiny Mirror reveals the loyal and the treacherous, and exposes the pivotal moments of the Investiture of the Gods.

He rejects Daji, executes corrupt ministers, strengthens his armies, and fortifies Chaoge. With his dragon robe as armor and his royal sword as his blade, he will fight a way for humanity to survive from the death trap laid by immortals and gods.

Bi Gan need not have his heart cut out, and Wen Zhong need not die in battle. The banner of Cheng Tang must keep flying over this land.

When Di Xin stands on the battlefield at Muye, the Destiny Mirror in hand, facing the Twelve Golden Immortals and the countless gods and Buddhas, the entire Primordial World finally realizes:

In this life, King Zhou means to change not the fate of the Shang dynasty, but humanity's fate of being manipulated by immortals and gods!
