The 101st Time Working Overtime, I Found Love

In a steel-and-concrete office tower, Lin Zhixia from the Planning Department has long accepted overtime as part of everyday life. Then, during her first overtime shift, she runs into Shen Yizhou, the Technology Department director, as he comes in to pick up some documents. The hot coffee he hands her brings unexpected warmth to the late-night office.

From sharing a takeout meal during overtime and getting a ride home on a stormy night, to him quietly shielding her from a difficult client and leaving her a stack of documents covered in sticky notes while she rushes to finish a proposal, Lin Zhixia gradually grows used to having him around during their hundred late-night encounters at the office. She thinks it's just a kind gesture from a colleague, but on an overtime night when he's absent, she realizes something is missing from the empty cubicles.

On her 101st overtime shift, with only a few neon lights still shining outside, Shen Yizhou walks in carrying hot milk tea. Between his fingers is a sticky note that reads: "The first time you worked late was a coincidence. The 101st time, I was waiting for you on purpose."

It turns out that every late-night coincidence and perfectly timed act of help was a crush he'd been hiding for a long time. In this fast-paced city, the greatest good fortune is finally finding, amid countless exhausting nights of overtime, someone willing to stay with you until the work is done and share every last bit of tenderness.
