Moonlight Over the Business World

Synopsis: As Qin Ziyang lies dying in a rented apartment, he swallows a family heirloom jade pendant and transmigrates into the body of the legitimate daughter of a merchant family in ancient times. She must contend with the confusion of merging with the original owner's memories and a crisis in the family business.

Qin Ziyang discovers that the original owner was killed three days ago after being "pushed down the stairs" by the prefect's daughter. Then Zhou Wenyuan, an illegitimate son of the Zhou family, suddenly shows up asking for help. His mannerisms are eerily similar to those of Qin Ziyang's modern-day husband, who ran off with their daughter's surgery money.

Using modern business strategies, Qin Ziyang sees through the Zhou family's trap and turns the tables with contract clauses worthy of The Merchant of Venice. She tears up the land deed to show her strength, attracting the attention of the mysterious Zhao Mingyuan.

Her maid Qing Xing's strange habit of hiding the Zhou family's silver notes, the mysterious connection between the bronze mirror and the jade pendant, and a glint from a spyglass watching through the window: a larger conspiracy is taking shape.
