Siheyuan: From the Start, I Become a Level Seven Engineer

Reborn, I became one of the residents of Love in the Courtyard, and my entire family had died as martyrs. In 1960, Chen Jianjun, a promising young man who had just graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology and returned home with honors as a seventh-grade engineer, stepped into the courtyard and activated a hidden System. With patriotic fervor, he swore to make a major contribution to building the nation. But waiting for him were all kinds of scheming “animals” who lived in the courtyard. And so began a tumultuous, legendary life: matching wits with the “animals” in the courtyard while remaining steadfastly devoted to building the nation. Of course, finding a virtuous and considerate wife was also an indispensable, heartwarming chapter in this grand adventure.
