I'm a Lawyer, So Knowing a Little Kung Fu Is Only Natural

Award-winning lawyer Chen Mo was “accidentally” killed after bringing down a powerful family. When he opened his eyes again, he had become an intern at a Blue Star law firm, where he was bullied every day and sent to buy hemorrhoid cream for the director.

In his previous life, he had cited the law in a sharp suit, only to be sent to the afterlife by a dump truck. In this life, the [Justice Protection System] bound itself to him on the spot:

“Argue the law with thugs? Reason with scoundrels? Host, you’re taking things a bit too far.”

From then on, Chen Mo could recite the Criminal Law backward with his left hand, while his right hand used “physical persuasion” to deal with anyone who refused to listen. When he argued a multinational conglomerate’s legal dream team into a collective breakdown, the company’s furious CEO snapped, “A lawyer’s letter won’t work! Use a little force!”

In a dark alley late at night, a group of burly men cornered Chen Mo. He loosened his tie and smiled bashfully at the camera. “Everyone, here are the key points for establishing self-defense. Let’s see them in practice.”

Three minutes later, standing on the only “witness” still able to breathe, he called the police. “Hello, I think… I won?”
